UCF integrated business

Hello, I'm Flora Carvalho.

I love turning creative ideas into organized plans, and then bringing them to life.

About

A little about me

I'm a DirectConnect transfer from Valencia, currently pursuing my BSBA in Integrated Business at UCF. I am fluent in English and Portuguese, and conversational in Spanish. I have two years of teaching experience and over a year of customer service experience. I'm interested in project management and marketing and want to keep growing my skills in both.

I recently discovered that I enjoy making lifestyle and college content. I've been creating content and building my editing skills in CapCut. I am very organized and love creating content strategies and calendars.

Outside of class, my friends would describe me as funny, caring and determined. My perfect weekend is a mix of everything: hiking or exploring somewhere new, hanging out with my boyfriend, family and friends, and then a quiet night at home with a book.

Transferring from out of state?

A 4-slide how-to for @transferconnecttoucf. Their feed is mostly events, so this gives out-of-state and private-college transfers their first 3 steps. I matched the account's existing look: tall condensed type, gold and black, tape and sticky-note details.

One week, two accounts

A weekly calendar for DirectConnect to UCF and Transfer Connect, planned so one person can keep both pages active and still have time to make each post well.

Weekly content calendar. Monday: DirectConnect day-in-the-life reel. Tuesday: Transfer Connect out-of-state carousel. Wednesday: DirectConnect quiz carousel. Thursday: Transfer Connect virtual info session post. Friday: shared Collab post on transfer events. Daily stories on both accounts.

This is my first semester as a transfer, so I know what kind of content transfer students actually want and what catches their attention. I'd mix educational posts, event announcements and lifestyle content that gets people excited, with trends here and there. The goal is to make it fun, not just bombard people with information, so that when transfer students watch, they feel excited, assured, and like they're not alone, because so many of us are going through the same thing.

  • EducationalThe quiz and the out-of-state steps
  • EventsInfo sessions and the Friday Collab
  • LifestyleDay in the life of a transfer
  • TrendsTrending reels and story stickers
  • 3 posts per accountThe accounts take turns Monday to Thursday, so each one gets steady posts without a daily rush.
  • Friday CollabOne Instagram Collab post shows up on both grids and reaches both audiences at once.
  • Daily storiesOn post days, stories promote the new post. On off days, polls and Q&As keep people engaged.
  • Built-in piecesThe two carousels above and my day-in-the-life reel are part of the week.
